The film will be directed by Fawzia Mirza and produced under the Baby Daal banner. Production started in Melbourne, Australia this June. The romantic comedy is set within Melbourne’s Sri Lankan community and follows Shani (Menik Gooneratne), a woman who turns to Vedic astrology to find a compatible partner and lands in a love triangle between her college best friend Rohan (Nimesh Patel), and a dashing newcomer named Bhatiya (Saagar Shaikh).

The hit Crave original dramedy LATE BLOOMER, produced by Blink49, just dropped the first two episodes on April 24th! The show is created by, co-showrun by, stars Jasmeet Raina (Jus Reign). And this season Jasmeet and Fawzia each directed half the season (four episodes!).
